The International Horse Show (SICAB in Spanish) is the most important Purebred Spanish Horse Show in the world.
It has been held in Seville uninterruptedly since 1991, making it a reference point for the equestrian sector on a national and international level, bringing together breeders and breeders from more than 60 countries.
SICAB is held every year in the third week of November, so this year it will take place from the 16th to the 21st of November.
More than 1000 Pura Raza Española horses from more than 300 national and international stud farms are registered.
The event attracts more than 200,000 visitors, which generates an important economic impact on the city of Seville. It is the third most important event in the city after Easter Week and the April Fair.
SICAB holds the Purebred Spanish Horse World Championship.
In order to participate in this final, the horse must have qualified in one of the competitions held for this purpose throughout the year.
It also hosts the ANCCE Cups for Dressage, Doma Vaquera, Alta Escuela, Enganche and Show Jumping, to which must be added the Exhibition competition and the horse show. The latter is one of the most eye-catching events due to the splendour of the lights, sounds and acrobatics of the riders with the PRE horses.
