The Spanish Dressage Championship began at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.
The first day of the Spanish Dressage and Adapted Dressage Championships, National and Master Criterium 2022, which will be held until Sunday in the Olympic arena of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, ended today with the victory and the second place of José Antonio García Mena in the Absolute Grand Prix, riding “Divina Royal” and “Sorento 15”, respectively.
The rider from Cadiz obtained an average of 72.783 with his star mare and 72.435 with “Sorento 15”. Alejandro Sánchez, riding “Quincallo de Indalo”, was third with an average of 71.413.
Grand Prix Classification
The first day of the Spanish Championship began with the reprise San Jorge of the National Criterium in which Julia Álvarez Abad won with “Du Pre”. With an average of 71.618 she beat Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and “First Lady” with 70.706. In third place was Juan Antonio Juménez Cobo and “Lanya el Coso” with an average of 70.529.
At the same time, the U25 – Intermediate II was held with the victory of Alejandro Oliva riding “Lázaro” with an average of 72.088. In the 5 years old Preliminary, Cristina Torrent won with “Dina Marq”, while Alfonso Expósito riding “Drago” won in the 6 years old Preliminary. Borja Carrascosa and “Frizzantino 28”, were the best in the 7 years old Preliminary with 79.018.
The second day of the championship will resume tomorrow, from 09:00 h, with the Young Riders Teams.
