PRE horses occupy the maximum number of places that the WBFSH allows Spain to participate in the World Championships for young dressage horses, which will be held in Verden from 25 to 29 August.
Once again this year, PRE horses will occupy all the places on the Spanish team for the Championships. There will be 5, 6 and 7 year olds competing and the 2021 list offers several new features compared to the edition planned for 2020, which was finally cancelled due to the pandemic.
NORTEÑO FS, from Arroyomonte stud ridden by Alberto García-Briñón and TRÁPALO DE INDALO, from Indalo stud, ridden by Alejandro Sánchez del Barco were already part of the team in 2020 but will make their debut this year as that competition was cancelled.
They are joined in 5 years by BRÍO DE TUCABALLOANDALUZ, owned by José María Anguas Medina, bred by Centurión stud and ridden by Jesús Pascual and OX GIRALDÉS MOR, owned by Las Morerías and ridden by Carlos Bayo.
In 6 years old we have the pair FUEGO TG, bred by Teresa Goode and ridden by Pedro Hernández, and the aforementioned TRÁPALO DE INDALO.
In 7 years old, the 2 PRE horses are BANDUENDO (who was first alternate in 2020), owned by Río Grande stud, bred by Andrés Cabrera Moreno and ridden by Gustavo Artillo, and NORTEÑO FS.
